Aasandha Company has today appealed to the public to submit reports to them in the instance that difficulties are faced in getting medicines via the scheme.
In a post on social media, the company asked to report to them any instances where payments have to be made by the individual or unavailability of medication when taking prescription medications under the Aasandha scheme.
Reports can be submitted via Viber to Aasandha hotline +960 7951400.
When submitting reports, the name of the pharmacy and copies of the prescription and bill must be included.
Following Aasandha capping coverage rate for medication, many pharmacies have for various reasons stopped issuing some medication under the scheme. The medications, however, are available for sale from the same pharmacies.
Pharmaceutical Association President Ahmed Maumoon previously told Mihaaru News that with price controls set on 250 medications since November, many pharmacies have voiced concerns.
