Maldivian airline offers special rates for Eid-al-Adha holiday season

Maldivian has offered special rates for selected travel destinations across the country in a bid to offer easy methods of travel for their customers during these Eid-Al-Adha holidays.

Maldives' flag carrier, Maldivian Aero has introduced a special promotion for Maldivians this Eid holiday.

The airline stated that customers will be offered tickets at special rates for most of the airline's travel destinations.

Maldivian said that this promotion was begun for Eid-Al-Adha to arrange the easiest method of travel to various islands in the country for their customers during Eid holidays as well to offer cheap rates for those traveling to Male' for various essential needs.

The airline has offered special fare rates for those traveling to Male' starting from June 13 until June 16 and those returning from Male' on June 17 to June 24.

The special fare rates range from MVR 750 to MVR 1,200 with different rates allocated for various destinations.

The cheapest fare offered by Maldivian is for travels to Baa atoll Dharavandhoo. The lowest rate for traveling to the island is MVR 749. Moreover, trips to Gan, Addu City is charged a rate of MVR 1,222 while trips to Fuvahmulah City costs MVR 1,555. Meanwhile, tickets to two islands of Haa Dhaalu atoll, its capital, Kulhudhuffushi and Hanimaadhoo as well as tickets to Thaa atoll Thimarafushi are offered at MVR 1,111.

As these fare rates are offered at limited numbers, Maldivian urges its customers to book tickets at the earliest possible to benefit from these special rates.

While Maldivian typically increases their flight frequencies for various destinations during holiday seasons to cater to the soaring demand, they had similarly increased their flights for the Eid-al-Adha holiday season this year as well.

The airline's fleet is currently comprised of 15 aircrafts for domestic travels, which includes Airbus A320 aircrafts, as well as aircrafts of the Dash and ATR series. Maldivian is also making efforts to further increase the number of aircrafts included in their fleet in order to further strengthen their services for travelers.
