Foreigner reported missing in Addu City found deceased

A foreigner who was reported missing in Addu City, Feydhoo this morning has been found deceased in the sea.

In a message to the press, a police media official said that a search had been initiated for a foreign man who went missing after he had gone to throw away garbage this morning.

He was discovered in the sea around 09:40 hrs, police said.

According to Feydhoo Health Centre, the man was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The police are investigating the matter further.
