Maldivian to increase flights between Gan-Kooddoo

Maldives national carrier, Maldivian announces increasing flights between Seenu atoll Gan and Laamu Kooddoo from February 4, 2023.

The airline said it decided to increase operations to the route for the convenience of tourists and locals travelling between the islands as FlyDubai is scheduled to launch direct flights from Dubai to Gan International Airport in February. This marks the first-ever direct flight operation between Dubai and Gan.

In addition to its existing flights, the airline will schedule additional daily flights from Gan to Kooddoo, with further increases based on demand.

FlyDubai confirmed 28 flights are scheduled to Gan International Airport every week.
