New terminal at Velana International Airport
Velana International Airport - July 22, 2025: VIA gears up to open its new terminal on July 26, coinciding with Maldives marking its 60th Independence Day. The exterior of the terminal symbolizes Maldives' heritage, culture and religion with its coral stone architecture design. The interior bears the hues of Maldives' oceans and islands.
