Countdown to the 100th Anniversary of Majeedhiyya School
A special ceremony was held at Majeedhiyya School - one of the oldest education facilities in the country, to begin a 1000-day countdown to the school's 100th year anniversary. The countdown was initiated by Minister of Education, Dr Ismail Shafeeu. Several activities were organized at the special assembly, where awards were presented to those who who have been working at the school for 10 and 20 consecutive years. The school was incepted in 1927 and began operations on April 19 of the same year. The school will observe its 100th year of continuous education on April 19, 2027.
