President Dr Mohamed Muizzu is attending the fourth International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS) ongoing in Antigua and Barbuda. At the conference participated by many foreign dignitaries, President Muizzu had delivered seven addresses on the challenges faced by Maldives due to climate change and measures to overcome such difficulties. The delegation that accompanied President Muizzu on this trip includes Minister of Climate Change, Environment and Energy Thoriq Ibrahim, Minister of Foreign Affairs Moosa Zameer, Managing Director of Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed and Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development Dr Ali Haidar among others. The conference is set to conclude on May 30th.
