Male': March 9, 2024: The distribution of government-issued rice and flour for Ramadan, has begun in Male' City. Male' City Council has announced that staples will be distributed to each household based on their electricity meter, with individuals collecting the goods required to present the meter number. The council specified that only Maldivian citizens can collect the staples, and the designated individual for collection must present their ID card, license, or passport.
