Paddle around Baa - a success!

A group of four women from the United Kingdom and the Maldives, set off on February 21, 2019, on a unprecedented expedition, paddling 100 km around Baa Atoll to raise awareness on the dangers of plastic pollution, climate change, and ghost fishing gear on the marine life and ecosystems of the Maldives. In collaboration with the Olive Ridley Project and sponsored by Coco Collection, the tenacious team conducted various activities at several local islands and resorts, before successfully ending their feat on February 28, 2019.
