This service also allows users to block websites that may compromise account or personal information, as well as harmful sites that breach societal norms.
Dhiraagu has launched "Net Protect," a service designed to enhance internet safety for its users.
"Net Protect" helps users stay safe by protecting them from unsafe websites and links. If personal information is entered on a website deemed unsafe, customers will receive a notification.
At a press conference held at Dhiraagu's head office, Ahmed Ishan, Customer Value Manager, Broadband and Devices, said that the service is a significant advancement in cybersecurity.
“We are committed to providing the safest internet service for Dhiraagu customers. This service can be activated by any customer by logging into their Dhiraagu main account,” he said.
The service enables secure internet access without requiring additional software or app installations, allowing user customization.
“With Dhiraagu Net Protect, users can filter and block various websites. Customers can choose to block and unblock certain sites at specific times and can filter out websites that are not child-friendly,” Ishan added.
"Net Protect" can be customized through the Protect portal and is available for both mobile internet and fixed broadband services. Mobile customers can activate the service for MVR 35 per month, while fixed broadband users will be charged MVR 50 per month.
This service also allows users to block websites that may compromise account or personal information, as well as harmful sites that breach societal norms.
Dhiraagu is dedicated to enhancing the safety of its services.
