STELCO has opened scholarships for higher education in engineering under its "Merit-Based Engineering Scholarship" program.
STELCO is offering three opportunities for a bachelor's degree in the UK:
- One place in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Two places in Mechanical Engineering
The scholarship covers course fees, stipends, visa fees, return tickets, book allowance, and establishment allowance.

- Applicants must be under 24 years of age
- Must have two A star and A passes at A Level, including Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry, and Computer Science, or an equivalent IB certification
The scholarships are available for study at three universities:
- The University of Manchester
- University of Leeds
- University of Southampton
Selected students must commit to working for STELCO after completing their course and will also be required to complete an internship with the company before starting the program.
The application deadline is April 30.
