Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has described the revival of Maldivian football as a national priority.
He made this remark at the final match of the Milo Under-14 Academy Tournament, organized by the Soccer Veterans Association.
Addressing the crowd, he said that the government prioritizes fostering young and senior talent in football, and he attended despite Victory Day events underway to highlight President Dr Mohamed Muizzu's dedication to youth development.
"Given the current state of Maldivian football, it is crucial that we focus our efforts, and we plan to do just that," he said.

Super United Sports Academy claimed victory in the tournament, winning 7-0 over Adventure Football Academy.
