Minister Shaheem will meet with Dr Al-Rabiah during his visit to sign the annual Hajj Agreement between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia. In addition, Minister Shaheem will attend the Hajj exhibition organized by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj.
Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has traveled to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Saudi's Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr Tawfig Al-Rabiah.
According to the Islamic Ministry, Minister Shaheem will meet with Dr Al-Rabiah during his visit to sign the annual Hajj Agreement between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia. The agreement facilitates arrangements for Maldivian pilgrims participating in the Hajj pilgrimage.
In addition to the agreement signing, Minister Shaheem will attend the Hajj exhibition organized by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj.
Discussions during the visit are scheduled to focus on enhancing arrangements for Maldivian pilgrims and increasing the country's annual Hajj quota, which currently stands at 1,000 pilgrims.
