EPA said that large amounts of waste are being placed on streets and pavements as households and businesses prepare for Ramadan.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has urged the public to refrain from leaving garbage on the streets ahead of Ramadan.
In a statement issued yesterday, EPA said that large amounts of waste are being placed on streets and pavements as households and businesses prepare for Ramadan.
The agency warned that this not only affects road cleanliness and creates difficulties for pedestrians but also poses serious health risks.
EPA said that littering in public spaces is prohibited by law and called to take necessary measures to ensure proper waster disposal in collaboration with waste management service providers and the Waste Management Corporation during this period.
