United States signs to provide additional USD 3 million to support good governance

The Maldives and the United States of America signed the ninth amendment to the Development Objective Grant Agreement (DOAG) between the two nations on Monday, obligating the United States government to commit an additional USD 3 million to Maldives to support public finance management and good governance.

In a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel signed on behalf of the Maldivian government and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director Gabriel Grau signed on behalf of the United States government.
