Nish Nashid: The haunting ballad, 'Garubagathee'

Nish Nashid has released a much awaited new single - 'Garubagathee'.

Nish speaks to The Edition about the journey of creating the song, from lyrics by her husband Hassan Zaki (Hassanko), to creating the melody.

The song features an impressive line up of artists from Ibbe on drums and boduberu, Adlee on guitar, Husen Sentu on keys, Addo on bass, added to by backing vocals from Farey and Addo.

Nish recorded the single at N9 Studios. She plans on releasing more singles before it takes on the form of an album in the future.
