Police arrested two men last night who were disguised as women and were attempting to steal.
A Police media official said that the two were arrested from Maaveyo Magu in capital Male' City last night at around 2.40am.
The two have been identified as Ahmed Sabah, 46, Lilyge, GDh. Vaadhoo, and Ahmed Naushad, 42, Sosunge, N. Miladhoo.
When taken for their remand hearing, the court has placed them in custody for a period of 15 days.
Police said that they are conducting further investigations into the case. Further details of the theft have not been disclosed as of yet.
