The atoll league matches are ongoing at the Golden Futsal Challenge, firing celebrations as teams advance to the next rounds.
In the ongoing Golden Futsal Challenge 2025, Magoodhoo has intensified the excitement of Faafu atoll's league by defeating Nilandhoo with a score of 3-2.
With Magoodhoo's victory in yesterday evening's match, the team has moved up to first place in the Faafu atoll league round, which has five competing teams. The team now has seven points with wins from all three matches it played so far. On the other hand, Nilandhoo lost all three matches they played.
The league's second place is held by Dharanboodhoo, with six points, having won both matches the team played. The team defeated Feeali 2-1 yesterday. Feeali, has not managed to secure any wins for matches as of yet.
In third place for Faafu atoll is the most recent atoll champion, Biledhdhoo, which has earned four points from two matches played so far.
The Faafu atoll final, set for the 29th of this month, will feature the top two teams from the league round. Magoodhoo, leading the table, has one remaining league match against Dharanboodhoo. Ahead of that, Dharanboodhoo will take on Biledhdhoo, followed by Biledhdhoo's clash with Feeali.
The current M. Atoll champions, Muli, played to a 1-1 draw with Dhiggaru last night in Group A. Maduvvari secured a 1-0 victory over Veyvah in another match in the group.
With this result, both Muli and Dhiggaru have secured four points from two matches, while Maduvvari is at third place with three points after their win. Veyvah, having lost both matches, has been eliminated from the group.
In their final matches, Muli will face Maduvvari, and Dhiggaru will play against Veyvah.
Meemu atoll's Group B features three teams. Naalaafushi, the runner-up from the previous atoll final, ended their match against Muli with a 0-0 draw last night. Muli's first match against Kolhufushi in their opening match also ended with no goals. The remaining three group stage matches will take place next Tuesday.
Yesterday evening, Madaveli and Vaadhoo secured their places in the GDh. atoll semi-finals.
In Group A, Madaveli defeated Faresmaathodaa 3-2, winning both group stage matches the team played in. In the first match of this three-team group last Saturday night, Madaveli defeated Thinadhoo with the same score.

The last two matches of the group stage in this atoll will be played next Monday night.
Both Noonu atoll and Vaavu toll rounds have three competing teams. For both atolls, the final match will be played between the two best teams after the league round.
In Noonu atoll's first match last night, Holhudhoo defeated Velidhoo 4-1. All four goals for Holhudhoo were scored by Abdullah Vadhooh.
The next matches of the Noonu atoll league will feature these two teams playing against Miladhoo. The reigning champion of this atoll, Kendhikulhudhoo, is not participating in this year's tournament.
In Vaavu atoll's first match last night, Felidhoo defeated Fulidhoo 1-0. The next matches in this atoll's league will show these two teams playing against the current atoll champion, Keyodhoo.
Baa atoll and Dhaalu atoll rounds of the Golden Futsal Challenge started this evening. After that, tonight's matches will be between teams from Haa Alifu and Haa Dhaalu atolls.
