Three arrested after brawl involving foreigners at Artificial Beach

Three people have been arrested following a fight between foreigners at Artificial Beach.

A police spokesperson said that the incident was reported around 20:30 hrs last night. Three Indian nationals were detained in connection with the incident.

The fight escalated when the foreigners assaulted a Maldivian who was filming the altercation, police said. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.

This follows a similar incident last month, when several Indian nationals were arrested for a brawl at the same location. Immigration authorities have said that further action will be taken against those involved.

Artificial Beach, a popular spot for locals and tourists, sees large crowds on Fridays, including families and children.
