Faris announces Dr. Sattar as running mate for presidential bid

Dr. Abdul Sattar has been selected as the running mate for Faris Maumoon, the leader of the Maldives Reform Movement (MRM), who announced his independent candidacy in the upcoming presidential election.

In a video message to announce his running mate, Faris expressed that Dr. Abdul Sattar Yoosuf has dedicated many years of service to the people with honesty and sincerity.

Dr. Sattar affirmed that he has accepted the role of Faris Maumoon's running mate for the betterment of the country.

"With this endeavor, we aspire to better our country and make tomorrow a brighter than today," said Dr. Sattar.
