Dhiraagu has officially handed over the speedboat to the winner of its "Win a Speedboat" promotion, which was the company's largest promotion last year.
The event took place at Al Shaali Marine Boat Yard, where Hussain Fayaz from Gaafu Alifu atoll Villigilli was presented with an Al Shaali Marine Magellan 32 speedboat, along with two Yamaha 175 horsepower outboard engines.
The award ceremony was attended by Fayaz and his family, alongside senior officials from Dhiraagu, Al Shaali Marine, and Alia.
Fayaz, a loyal Dhiraagu customer for the past 16 years, shared his surprise and joy at winning the prize, which he had initially entered into to make his eldest son happy.
He said that when he learned that he had won, he could not believe it at first but was overwhelmed with happiness.
Fayaz expressed his gratitude to Dhiraagu for organizing such promotions, which offer customers the chance to win valuable prizes.
The "Win a Speedboat" promotion ran from September to December last year as part of Dhiraagu's anniversary celebrations.
The 32-foot speedboat can accommodate 12 people and is equipped with two Yamaha 175-horsepower engines. The speedboat also comes with a cabin and kitchen.
The promotion was highly the public and drew significant participation.
Dhiraagu has previously conducted similar promotions, including the Tesla car giveaway in 2023.
