Tree Top Hospital conducts multispecialty health camp in Villingili

Tree Top Hospital has successfully concluded a two day multi specialty health camp in Gaafu Alifu atoll Villingili for residents of the atoll.

The health camp was held on June 29, with a total of 317 patients from Villingili, Kolamaafushi, Maamendhoo, Dhaandhoo, Kondey, Nilandhoo, Kanduhulhudhoo, and Gemanafushi attending for consultations with specialist doctors.

In addition to consultations, the camp offered insights and awareness on common health conditions for the public and knowledge for staff working at healthcare centers in these islands.

Tree Top Hospital CEO, Dr Srivatsan Sridhar G. said "this camp served a crucial purpose by offering much needed specialist consultations to residents who might otherwise struggle with accessibility and affordability."

He added that the hospital is committed to working with local communities to raise awareness about preventive healthcare and the significance of early detection.

- Dr Chandrashekar Rawal, Consultant ENT Specialist

- Dr Mohamed Habeeb, Consultant Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgeon

- Dr Ali Muznee, Consultant Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgeon

- Dr Tehzeb Faruqui, Consultant Pulmonologist

- Dr Mehmet Oder, Consultant Urologist

Tree Top Hospital conducts multi-specialty health camps in various parts of Maldives every year. The hospital added that it plans to hold similar camps in other regions in the future as well.
