Kanduhulhudhoo lost their first match, against Gemanafushi. They also lost last night's match against Dhaandhoo with a 2-3 score.
However, Gemanafushi lost their match last night against Nilandhoo by 0-2. Both of Nilandhoo's goals were scored by Mohamed Zahil Ahmed.
With this, each team in Gaafu Alif group has one remaining match. Dhaandhoo has confirmed their spot in the semi-finals through gaining 6 points.
Nilandhoo and Gemanafushi each have 3 points, with Nilandhoo ahead by goal lead. Kanduhulhudhoo, also they have scored 3 goals in two matches, have five goals against them.
Dhaandhoo will be playing against Gemanafushi in their last match in group stage. Kanduhulhudhoo will be facing off against Nilandhoo. Kanduhulhudhoo will only get a spot in the semifinals if they secure a win with a 2 goal lead against Nilandhoo and Dhaandhoo beats Gemanafushi.

Laamu atoll matches started last night, with last year's runner-up Gan rising up to defeat Maavah 1-6.
In this Group A match, Ahmed Mohamed scored a goal and took the lead for Maavah right at the start of the game. However, Gan rallied and with two goals each from Mohamed Muslih and Ahmed Mohamed, as well as goals from Abdulla Junaidh and Hussain Azmy, they secured a clear win.
Gan, who lost to Baa atoll Eydhafushi in last year's Golden Futsal Cup finals, won the inaugural shield match against Eydhafushi this year. In 2023, Gan became champions through winning against Gaafu Dhaalu atoll Vaadhoo.
The Group B match played last night between Mundoo and Kalhaidhoo ended with a 3-3 tie.
Meemu atoll's Group A's first two matches were also played last night. Last champion of the atoll, Mulah, won against Veyvah last night with a 1-3 score. The next match saw Dhiggaru beating Maduvvari with a score of 2-3.
Tonight, Haa Dhaalu and Haa Alif atolls will be playing matches.
