His subsequent posts included popular songs from famous singer Hassaan Mohamed (Meyna Hassaan) such as Mila Mila Handhuvaru, Raivareh Hedheema, Fanu Dhummaari and Maasingaa Kandu Therein.

In addition to politics, PM Anwar has a love for songs and music. Even while being active in the political arena, music plays an important role in PM Anwar's private life and in strengthening cultural relations.

Anwar has a deep love for classic Indian music, specifically popular singer Kishore Kumar's songs. He likes popular Hindi songs such as Khwab Ho Tum Ya Koi Haqeeqat and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.

Before coming to Maldives, PM Anwar shared Indian music on his Instagram posts while he was attending the 18th BRICS Leaders' Summit held in India.

PM Anwar sang Kishore Kumar's Khwab Ho Tum Ya Koi Haqeeqat during the BRICS Summit gala dinner. He shared a video of him singing on his Instagram page as well.

The Malaysian PM has sung Hindi songs during official ceremonies with leaders in other countries and international meetings such as the BRICS Summit and has brought happiness to attendees.

Along with Hindi songs, Anwar adores Malaysian cultural music and regional folk music. During his time spent in prison, he read books and sang songs to relax and find hope, said Anwar.
