Bollywood star Katrina Kaif to visit Maldives soon

Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif is set to visit Maldives soon in her role as Visit Maldives’ Global Ambassador.

Katrina shared the news on her Instagram story, saying she was “very happy” to take on the ambassador role.

“The Maldives’ crystal-clear sea, biodiversity and serene environment are things you cannot experience anywhere else in the world,” she wrote.

“I have to experience this paradise. See you soon in Maldives.”

While the exact date of her visit has not been confirmed, Indian media have reported that Katrina, who is expecting her first child, is due to give birth later this month.

Katrina was appointed Visit Maldives’ global ambassador in June as part of a campaign to promote the country’s natural beauty, marine life and luxury tourism experiences to a global audience.

In August, British actor Taz Skylar known for his role as Sanji in Netflix’s live-action series One Piece also visited the Maldives to promote the destination.
