Pop superstar Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Joe Alwin celebrated New Year in Maldives.
The couple reportedly spent their vacation in world-leading resort Soneva Fushi, which is located in Baa Atoll, home to Maldives' UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
According to British singer Matthew Crane, the two were in the audience during his performance at the resort on New Year's Eve.
Crane remarked that the duo gave him a standing ovation following his performance and complimented his voice.
“It was truly an honour and an experience that I will never forget”, stated Crane on Instagram.
The singer's New Year vacation in Maldives is her first known visit to the country.
Swift released her seventh album 'Lover' in August 2019 and has three nominations in the upcoming annual Grammy Awards. The 30-year-old singer will also shortly release a documentary, Miss Americana, featuring several years of her career.
Soneva Fushi is a high-end resort well known for attracting A-list celebrity holidaymakers and renowned worldwide for the brand's eco-centric 'intelligent luxury' concept and various sustainable practices as well as initiatives. Soneva Fushi celebrated its 25th anniversary this January.
