Woman discovered dead with injuries in Noonu atoll Holhudhoo

A 50 year old woman was found dead with injuries on her body in Noonu atoll Holhudhoo earlier today.

Police said that they responded to a report about the woman this morning. She was transported to the Holhudhoo Health Center, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

"The health center informed the police that the woman was deceased upon arrival. Police are currently investigating the matter," the police said in a statement sent to the media.

It has been revealed that a forensic team has been deployed to the scene as part of the ongoing investigation.
