Dead body found in a Male' guesthouse

The body of a deceased male has been found in a bathroom of a guesthouse in Male' today.

In a message to the media, Police said that they had received reports of a man found fallen in a bathroom in a guesthouse in Henveiru ward of Male' at around 2 pm today.

Police said that he had been declared dead on arrival when taken to the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Abdulla Zaki, 59, of Bokarumaage, Hulhudhoo, Addu City.

Police said that they are conducting further investigations into the incident.
