HDC has previously said that the project aims to provide affordable housing for students living in the Malé area.

A study conducted by the company found that students and single people living in Malé City paid an average of MVR 5,000 per month in rent. Fifty-six percent of respondents expressed interest in the project.

The project includes a 14-storey building on a 16,934 sqft plot of land. The second to ninth floors will be reserved for twin sharing, while the remaining floors will have single accommodation rooms. However, HDC has not specified the number of rooms available or how they will be allocated.
