Dhiraagu has been awarded the 'Country's Fastest 5G Network' award from Ookla.
The award was granted to Dhiraagu based on their performance from the third to fourth quarter of last year.
The award was presented tat the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. It was accepted by Dhiraagu CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed and Chief Technology and Information Officer Mohamed Mus'adh.
Accepting the award, Rasheed said that the company had received the award through their team's dedication to providing the best service and experience to customers. He extended thanks to customers who remain with Dhiraagu, accepting it as the fastest network in Maldives. He asserted that Dhiraagu would work towards providing even better service to customers in the future.
"Our ultrafast 5G provides ease to individuals and businesses, and will contribute towards further development. Dhiraagu will always invest in the latest technology and work towards ensuring Maldives is a leader in digital innovation," Rasheed said.
Ookla is a world-renowned company for conducting various applications, data and analyses that test fixed broadband and mobile networks. SpeedTest, Okla's flagship network testing platform, has been collecting a lot of information on the performance and quality of networks around the world on a daily basis.
The past three years, Dhiraagu consecutively won the Fastest Network in the Country award presented by Ookla.
