MMPRC said that the event, titled 'Maldives Culture and Food Festival' will be held on December 31 and January 1 at the Hulhumale' Central Park.
A cultural food festival, 15 minute drone show, traditional games and a fireworks show will be featured at the event.
The drone festival will be held at 21:00 hrs on the night of December 31st, while the fireworks show will be at midnight, leading into the new year.
The food festival will be held on the night of December 31st and from 16:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs on January 1.
