Bank of Maldives (BML) has laid the foundation for a new building to house their Kuda Huvadhoo branch, with the aim of further extending services provided on the island.

THe foundation was laid by BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb and CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, cabinet ministers and other senior government officials also attended the event.
BML also placed a second ATM in Kuda Huvadhoo yesterday. Services provided by this ATM include cash withdrawals, deposits, money transfers, making payments for cards and loans. This ATM now allows customers to seek banking services around the clock without physically visiting the BML Branch on the island.
BML CEO and Managing Director Shareef said that the establishment of the new branch building in Kuda Huvadhoo would present further convenience to customers seeking banking services in the region.
Bank of Maldives currently provides service in 20 atolls with 39 branches, 95 self service banking centres, 153 ATMs, agent banking and online banking services.
