Over 480 swimmers competed in the inter-school competition.
Mohamed Rihan Shiham, Amna Tazkiya Mirshad, and Ayana Areef excelled in the inter-school swimming competition, each securing first place in their respective age categories.
Rihan was awarded Best Under-18 Male Swimmer at the Sports Awards held on Thursday night. In addition to his school competition victories, he also championed in the open category of the national long-distance swimming competition.
Ayana claimed the title in the women's open category of the national long-distance swimming competition and was named Best Female Swimmer Under-16 in the school competition.
Last year, Ayana won the junior division in the long-distance event and secured 10 victories in the school competition, finishing second in one event. Izyan Nazim was named Best Under-16 Male Swimmer.
Tazkiya, who earned the Most Promising Female Swimmer of the Year title, was named Best Swimmer in the Under-14 category. Representing Finland International School, she won several events. Zukain Abdulla Haneef won the Best Male Swimmer in the Under-14 category.
In the junior age group, Mohamed Yuan Shameem of Ghaazee School was named Best Male Swimmer Under-12, while Mariyam Aira Shiruneel won Best Female Swimmer in the same age group.
Over 480 swimmers competed in the inter-school competition.
