A Sri Lankan man has been arrested by authorities for exhibiting unruly behaviour at Velana International Airport today.
Police said a clash broke out between Sri Lankans at the taxi drop-off point at Velana International Airport, and that all involved people live in the country on work visas.
So far, one person has been arrested in connection with the incident, police said and the incident is being further investigated by authorities.
Local reports suggest that one of the individuals involved was believed to be under the influence of alcohol. He allegedly tried to assault the others.
