Scholarship opportunities have been opened for both undergraduate and master’s degree programs in various fields of agriculture.
These scholarships are being offered under the "Transforming Fisheries Management in South West Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project," a joint initiative between the Maldives government and the World Bank.

- Agriculture (Botany and Entomology)
- Natural Resource Management / Bachelor of Economics
- One scholarship opportunity in Protection/ Entomology/ Plant Pathology
Applicants for these programs must have obtained a minimum grade of C or above in five O-Level subjects and three A-Level subjects.
The master’s degree program offers one opportunity in the fields of Protection, Entomology, or Plant Pathology. To be eligible, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of two years of experience working in a relevant field.

The ministry said that incomplete applications will not be considered.
