The theme of this year's calendar is "Independence Always"
Dhiraagu said this theme is special because the calendar is designed to coincide with the 60th Independence Day of the Maldives, which would be celebrated in 2025.
As such, each month of the calendar has a national symbol associated with Maldivian culture and customs.
Dhiraagu will also release a monthly video providing information about the symbol represented in the calendar that month, the company said. The information provided in the would be a useful resource for learning more about the country's history and heritage, Dhiraagu also added.
The 2025 calendar was launched by Housing Development Corporation (HDC)'s Managing Director Mohammed Mauroof Jameel and HDC's Chairman Ahmed Nasif in a meeting between the two companies about mutual collaboration to further strengthen the services provided to the residents of Hulhumalé.
Dhiraagu's CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed said the calendar is designed to symbolise the history of Maldives.
"We are very proud to launch Dhiraagu's 2025 calendar on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Maldives's independence. The calendar highlights the symbols of our country's independence and rich history and reflects the culture, strength and unity of the people," he said.
Dhiraagu designs and releases calendars every year on different themes with innovative ideas.
