President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has departed on an official trip to Raa atoll today, where he will be visiting eleven islands.

The three day visit will start with visits to Vaadhoo, Rasgetheemu, An'golhitheemu, Hulhudhuhfaaru and Ungoofaaru today.
Tomorrow, the President will visit Maakurathu, Maduvvari, Rasmaadhoo and Innamaadhoo.
On the final day of the visit, he will travel to to Fainu and Kinolhas.
This is part of the series of visits the President commenced last year, where he aims to travel to all inhabited islands of Maldives and meet with the local councils and residents.
Earlier this month, President Muizzu visited some islands in Gaafu Alif and Gaafu Dhaalu atolls.
