Police have revealed that the man found injured in a guesthouse earlier this morning had been the victim of assault.
Police made a welfare check this morning after receiving reports of a person staying at a guesthouse in Maafannu ward of Male' City having been out of contact, and discovered him lying injured in his room at the guesthouse.
