The new academic year began today with approximately 90,000 students returning to schools across Maldives.
Following a nearly 40-day break that began on February 27, classes resumed in 216 schools.
The Ministry of Education stated that this year, around 90,000 students are enrolled from pre-school to grade 12, with about 11,000 teachers allocated for their learning this year.
