People's National Congress's internal elections, where presidents for constituencies will be elected, have been postponed once again.
Initially, the election was planned for October 19, which was later pushed back to November 9.
In a statement issued yesterday, the party said that the elections will now be held on November 23.
The party said that the postponement has come on the request of many candidates, as there is a chance that many voters will be out of the island on November 9 as President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has declared the 10th of November a public holiday on the occasion of Republic Day this year.
- Constituency Presidents and Vice Presidents
- Island President for Youth Activities and Island President for Women's Activities
- Steering Committee members
The voters' list and candidates' list will be published on November 10.
