Luxury resort The Nautilus Maldives opened its doors on Sunday, in the UNESCO biosphere reserve of Baa Atoll.

The resort incorpoates a modern bohemian style concept of absolute freedom for its guests, who enjoy no rules, no dress codes, no set restaurant hours and no fixed menu choices.

"The driving philosophy behind the resort is to make guests feel not only completely at home but also as if time itself no longer exists", stated the resort.

The resort's concepts are bespoke and activities follow the lead of the guest.

The Nautilus Maldives features 26 beach and ocean houses. Being situated in the biosphere reserve, the resort is in close proximity to famed Manta Ray spot 'Hanifaru Bay' and other pristine dive sites across Baa Atoll.

The resort also features three restaurants, two bars and a spa.
