Bank of Ceylon (BOC) is to unveil its second branch in the Maldives, located in the reclaimed suburb of Hulhumale’, on Thursday.
BOC's Country Manager to the Maldives, B K Gurusinghe, stated that all the services in the Male’ branch will also be available in Hulhumale’, include customer deposits, applications and ATM services.
Gurusinghe added that the purpose of opening a second branch was to expand BOC's services in Maldives and to ease services for their customers.
BOC was founded in 1939 and is the only Sri Lankan Bank branch in Maldives. In addition to Male', BOC maintains off-shore branches in Chennai of India and London.
