Ooredoo unveils Digital Portfolio for Maldivian Resorts

Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives, on Wednesday, unveiled its Digital Resorts portfolio which is personalised for the Maldivian tourism sector.

According to Ooredoo, the portfolio aims to connect local resorts to the smart hospitality services, including customised mobile apps, next generation in-room services and world class entertainment.

“New-age travellers are actively prioritizing hotels and resorts that utilize digital tools to enable a differentiated experience,” said Najib Khan, the CEO of Ooredoo Maldives. “As a trusted partner of businesses worldwide, we support you to create new guest experiences, simplify your network infrastructure, lower IT costs on property, centralize business data for better analytics and drive global growth.”

The main service offered by Ooredoo is the introduction of the Digital Resort App which is a single window for travellers to engage with resorts prior to, during or after their stay.

It also offers a new service called ‘Digital HR’ that is a cloud-based tool to help employers engage with their employees.

Furthermore, Digital Entertainment was introduced to provide an IPTV platform which offers the widest choice of HD entertainment, video-on-demand content and in-room services.

Bringing all these solutions together on a single platform, Digital Hub is a fully integrated Quad-Play solution built on a single Gigabit Fiber Network which delivers superior Voice, Video, Internet and TV services.
