Finolhu in Baa Atoll has unveiled the first ever 'Bubble Tent' to be stationed anywhere within the Maldivian archipelago.

The launch party held on September 3 witnessed a transformation to the facilities made available for tourists visiting the resort.

Located in a secluded spot along Finolhu’s famous 1.5km sandpit, away from the buzz of the mainland, the Beach Bubble Tent is available exclusively for incredibly romantic, one-night-only ‘Dream Eclipses’ experienced under the stars.

Facilitating the fast-growing market for the avant-garde form of 'glamping', the Finolhu Beach Bubble Tent boasts a spectacular nocturnal hideaway for the guests opting to experience it, from sunset till sunrise. This transparent inflatable bubble offers a unique environment where guests can enjoy an evening of pellucid stargazing experience without compromising on high-spec designs and luxurious creature comforts.

Custom-designed by the clever professionals of Eye In The Sky, this positive-air filled 'cleanroom' awaits to provide its guests with a UV-protected, fully waterproof, climate-controlled cocoon.

Bubble is an exclusive worldwide patented Precontraint Serge Ferrari technology and acquires distinctive properties in terms of resistance, dimensional stability and lightweight, eliminating deformation due to load and offering a longer useful life. The interiors feature custom-fitted wooden floors and bespoke furnishings, and a separate adjoining bubble bathroom with WC and shower.

Deeming the Beach Bubble Tent a modern take on the fenced-in haven of Robinson Crusoe, Finolhu's Resort Manager Marc Reader keenly elaborated on the innumerable amenities that will come with its retreat package.

A night in the Beach Bubble Tent is set to provide the guests with security guards till the morning given its secluded location, a personal butler, and of course the liberty to buzz for some food to fully enjoy the night-time reverie.

"Here in this sandpit, the sunset is magical. But the sunrise is unbelievable!' assured an exuberant Mark Reader at the launch party of the Beach Bubble Tent.

Come an end to the night-loving episode, guests of the Beach Bubble Tent will be able to watch the unbelievable sunrise, as they linger over breakfast at the water’s edge.
