Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race 2026 (DMRR 2026) is now just two weeks away, scheduled to be held at the Hulhumale' Central Park on November 20. The event will be bringing together more than 5,600 local and international participants.

Dhiraagu states that this year's DMRR 2026 marks a significant milestone as the event has been officially recognized as a World Athletics Ranking Competition. The race will be conducted on a World Athletics-certified course measured in cooperation with the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).

The event will feature Half Marathon, 10K and 5K Open categories, as well as the newly introduced team categories.

Organizers said that the race aims to attract both seasoned runners and first-time participants while encouraging healthier and more active lifestyles.

As race day approaches, participants are encouraged to focus on training and preparation. Dhiraagu noted that coaching partners, The Wellness Club, Island Runners Maldives, and Marathon Runners Maldives, are providing support and guidance to help runners build endurance, improve technique and prepare for their chosen race categories.

Dhiraagu said that they will continue to share updates regarding the event through its social media channels, while additional information can be found on the dedicated event website.
