Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has launched the 'Growing with Bingaa - Bingaa Champs' promotion in celebration of the bank's unique kid's banking solution, Bingaa, reaching two years of service. 

Bingaa, an innovative kids' banking solution designed to foster financial literacy and responsibility from a young age was built with strident parental oversight and offers three separate account types: Bingaa TRX, Bingaa Save and Bingaa Invest. Bingaa was launched in November, 2024. 

The bank said that the anniversary promotion aims to recognize children who have been part of the programme and working towards strengthening financial literacy and adopting positive financial habits since early childhood. 

Three lucky children who have been regularly saving under the programme and working towards improving financial literacy will be selected. Each of these children will receive an iPad and a certificate from MIB. 

Parents can nominate children for participation in this promotion through the QR codes shared on MIB's digital media channels and displayed at MIB outlets. Existing Bingaa customers are eligible for this promotion, and each child's name can be nominated just once. 

Nominations will remain open until November 5, MIB announced. 

MIB asserted that the bank remains committed to introducing unique digital banking innovations for the convenience and benefit of the public.
