Ooredoo Maldives has launched a giveaway offering 10 Maldivian running enthusiasts free registration to participate in the Ooredoo Doha Marathon 2027. 

Ooredoo said that the initiative is part of its efforts to promote active lifestyles and support community engagement through sports. 

Winners will receive complimentary entry to one of four race categories: 5K Run, 10K Run, Half Marathon or Full Marathon. This, Ooredoo said, will allow runners of varying experience levels to take part in the international event. Travel and accommodation arrangements will be the responsibility of the selected participants. 

Interested runners can register for the giveaway via ore.do/dohamarathon until October 14 2026.

Ooredoo Maldives says the initiative aims to inspire more Maldivians to challenge themselves and connect with the wider regional sporting community. 

The company has previously supported similar activities to encourage fitness and wellbeing.
