Under its Internship Programme, Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened up the opportunity for 25 Tech Interns to work with their team.
BML said that this initiative offers young Maldivians the opportunity to receive hands-on experience across Technology and non-Technology areas of the bank.
The internship programme offers practical experience through live projects, mentorship and exposure to different functions of the bank.
Interns will be provided with a monthly allowance of MVR 11,000, along with a Ramadan bonus, 15 days of paid annual leave and 10 days of leave for medical and family emergencies.
Maldivians above the age of 18 who are pursuing or hold a technology-related qualification and have relevant technical skills are eligible to apply.
Bank of Maldives has employed 98 interns across seven batches since the Internship Programme was first launched in 2018. The bank said that 60 percent of these interns went on to secure permanent positions at the bank.
