Two eye specialist doctors from India's renowned Chaitanya Eye Hospital are scheduled to visit EyeCare Hospital this October, according to the hospital.

These two doctors will be consulting patients at EyeCare Hospital from the 11th to the 15th of this month.

The hospital stated that Chaitanya Hospital's Senior Consultant and Vitreoretinal Surgeon Dr. Manoj and cataract, glaucoma, and phaco surgery specialist Dr. Harikrishnan CP are scheduled to consult at the hospital for five days.

The two doctors will examine patients at EyeCare Hospital located on Orchid Magu.

These two doctors are visiting EyeCare under a partnership established between EyeCare and Chaitanya Hospital, which has over 30 years of experience in providing specialized eye care. EyeCare stated that this partnership will allow Maldivians who have previously received treatment from the hospital, as well as those seeking a specialist's opinion anew, to easily obtain that opportunity while staying in the Maldives.

The two doctors will consult from the 11th to the 15th of this month, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Aasandha and other insurance services will be available when consulting these two doctors.

EyeCare stated that during the visit of these two doctors, eye check-ups and consultation services will be provided. Following that, individuals requiring further treatment or surgery will be identified, and based on the resources required for it, arrangements are planned to be made to conduct such treatments and surgeries at EyeCare Hospital in the future.

It was also stated that patients requiring treatments not available from the Maldives will be referred to India's Chaitanya Hospital. In this regard, EyeCare will assist in scheduling appointments for patient departures, as well as arranging tickets and accommodation.

EyeCare highlighted that due to this opportunity, services from international-level doctors will be available locally, additional travel expenses will be saved, and patients will experience significant relief in discussing treatments with the doctor and making decisions.

Appointments to see these two doctors are now open. EyeCare instructs patients to bring previous medical reports, prescriptions, and eye test results when coming to see the doctor.

EyeCare stated that names can be registered through the hospital's hotline 3321026 and Viber/WhatsApp number 7201026.
