Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has opened entries for its Finlit Fest 2026 drawing competition for school students.
The competition is part of the MMA’s efforts to raise financial awareness among children in Maldives.
Students can participate in two categories: grades 5 to 7 and grades 8 to 9. Both digital and non-digital drawings will be accepted.
The competition has five themes:
- Financial health and responsible management of funds
- Savings and future goals
- An inclusive financial system where everyone participates
- Innovation and the future of finance
- A safe, responsible and sustainable financial system
Participants can win prizes of up to MVR3,000, the MMA said.
Selected drawings may also be used at various MMA events and in financial awareness campaigns.
Drawings can be submitted by email to finlit@mma.gov.mv or by sending the original artwork to MMA. The deadline for submissions is November 1.
